Community Supported Agriculture
Committed to the Cause

We offer mixed eight-pound packages of pork, lamb, chicken, and beef delivered to drop off points in Ironwood, MI or Mercer, WI twice each month. It's an easy way to budget, and you'll get to try a variety of cuts for about the same price as hamburger.

Icelandic Sheep

Organically grown, dual-coated Icelandic fleeces offer a great variety of natural colors and applications.

The Farm

Nestled in the pine forests of the Northern Great Lakes, our small farm is home to pastured Berkshire hogs and poultry, gourmet grass-fed Icelandic lamb, and grass-fed Dexter and Angus beef. We strive to provide our family and friends with healthy food harvested from animals that have lived lives the way they were intended to live-- on grass, in fresh air and sunshine.

The Mission

We aim to provide ethically raised foods to promote good health in our family and friends. We don’t need fertilizers or routine antibiotics because our animals are raised outside on grass, in the sunshine, free to do what they are designed to do. In turn, their behaviors nurture the soil. Healthy soil leads to healthy plant life, which leads to healthy animals and healthy people.

Nurture your body

As the saying goes, "We are too poor to be cheap." We try to spend our money wisely, so when we buy food, we focus on quality over quantity. Nutrient-dense meats make sense for our personal economy. When we eat pasture-raised meats from Whitney Creek Farm, we know we are consuming meats that won't just fill our bellies, but will really nurture our bodies. And we get pleasure in knowing that these finely crafted meats taste "like meat used to taste".
